Faculty of Sciences

“The aim of education must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who, however, can see in the service to the community their highest life achievement”

Albert Einstein

The Faculty of Science offers a wide range of study programs and tracks aimed at developing a broad and multidisciplinary scientific approach. These programs consolidate and deepen knowledge and understanding, develop curiosity and thinking as they offer practical tools for teaching the various subjects. The curricula are academic in nature, and combine the study of science with education and teaching courses for the application of practical classroom tools.

The studies in the various scientific fields maintain the connection to the knowledge structures in each field, while at the same time, an effort is made to highlight the multidisciplinary and applied nature of the scientific and educational enterprise. The various teaching methods and curricula are adapted to the needs of this highly technological age in the 21st century to foster teaching that develops curiosity and combines experiential learning that is relevant to the lives of the students.

The Faculty of Science offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of physical education, science, mathematics and environment studies, as well as special programs to retrain academics to become teachers in the above fields.
